PtDB is designed by clinicians to manage patient data and streamline physician / caregiver documentation.
PtDB was designed primarily by a nephrologist to manage some very complex patients, taking as many as 20 medications (especially new transplant patients), with extensive past histories and problems. PtDB provides forms for the patient, office staff, and physician to reduce mindless paperwork to an absolute minimum, and allow efficient review of current and past medical problems.
PtDB permits more time to be spent with the patient and less time spent with paperwork!
Most often the paperwork is completed when the patient leaves the examining room.
PtDB is a bridge between the paper medical record and the essential elements of a patient's history and medical care. It generates specialized, customizable forms for patient visits, letters/faxes to patients and consultants, prescriptions, and patient information sheets. Thus, it dramatically shortens the paperwork portion of the patient encounter, allowing more time and attention for the patient rather than the chart.
PtDB is network-ready, wired or wireless.
PtDB is a Filemaker solution, and runs on Mac and Windows platforms.
